9 Years Strong! |

Congratulations Marne Dogs!
The Third Infantry Division has officially reached its 9th year of service!
Due to the steadfast determination of its members, both past and present, the 3rd ID is beginning to round out its first decade in existence! This is thanks in no small part to the efforts put forth by everyone who has ever donned the 3rd ID Blue and White.
The Rock of the Marne's values still ring true to this day. A strong base of brotherhood, friendship and loyalty has helped us to achieve a thing of envy among the gaming community, longevity! Not only do we enjoy a long and storied history, but we continue to find ways to make this unit better every day. On many occasions we have been honored with the compliments of our peers, both for our discipline and the respect we have gained through out the communities we have been a part of.
In my time as Captain, I have seen this unit and its men do amazing things. Pride for the 3rd ID flows like water, and each member knows his place and understands that he is an important and crucial part of the unit, regardless of his rank or occupation.
Never forget that it through the determination and dedication of our members that our unit has been blessed with such a long life. Remember that the life blood of this unit resides in the bonds of brotherhood that we have all shared, and continue to share.

ArmA2 Switch : Its Official! |

Effective August 4th 2009, the Third Infantry Division is officially an Armed Assault 2, realism unit!
This decision came after much deliberation by the command staff. Ultimately it was decided that ArmA2 provides the perfect back drop for the direction the 3rd ID is heading. Top notch realism, a devoted, friendly community and nearly limitless modding and mission making possibilities by which we can keep drills and gaming much more interesting!
Though we have only just switched to ArmA2, we have received an amazing amount of welcoming, and for this we cannot be more thankful. The 1st ID and 31st MEU have extended their hands to us to participate in joint operations and we are more than happy to throw some Marne Dogs into the fray and give them an opportunity to do the 3rd ID proud in the eyes of the community.
That being said, we would like to thank the Call of Duty TR community for your continued support and work in helping create an environment that we had a lot of fun in.
We look forward to seeing you all in the field!

By order of the US Army and the Commanding officer of the Third Infantry Division, K Company, 15th Regiment, the following men are hereby ordered into active duty with the Third Infantry Division:
